The intelligence embodied in Mechanical Doubles Detection™ (MDD) also enhances throughput because the patented technology enables the note counter to recognize and accurately count doubles or chain notes that overlap during feeding.
This is because it measures the thickness of notes to determine their number when a double or chain is encountered. MMD is another reason why the EV8650 has fast and accurate throughput.
