Paul is a Chartered Accountant and has extensive experience from senior finance positions at Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co., Hanson Plc and Mercury Communications. From 1992, he held various senior management positions at Rolls-Royce plc prior to being appointed to the Board in 1997 as Director, Industrial Businesses and subsequently Finance Director in 1999. He has held Non-Executive Director positions at Bunzl plc and Filtrona plc and is currently on the Board of UU plc where he is Chairman of the audit and treasury committees. His most recent executive role was as Chief Executive of international engineering group, FKI Plc from 2003 to 2008. Paul brings deep experience across finance, engineering and manufacturing and was appointed Chairman of Talaris in February 2009.
